Bit late on this one because we moved this weekend and was offline for a while..........

Congrats to the Swans, you must all be absolutely thrilled, it certainly was a shock result but full credit to your team they really wanted the win!!!!!!!!! Despite the fact that my team lost :( I really enjoyed the match so congrats and good luck for the rest of the season and also September. :)

Cheers, lioness!

It was a great game, wasn't it? Lots of skill on display by both sides and the result in the balance right to the end. Can't ask for much more than that from a game of footy. And of course the result makes these next two weeks very interesting indeed...

Who knows, we may even run up against your lot again in September!:D

Thanks lioness & LionHeart. Brisbane looked very flat - maybe the Swans loss will be a wake-up call to them. Against the Pies, which I went to see, they were awesome, and soon you should get Leppitsch back so I think they're still a big chance to make it 3 in a row.

Yep you really hit the nail on the head with your post, and it's something I've said for quite a few weeks now. We do tend to switch off sometimes and I think that did happen against the Swans, and I'm VERY much hoping that they'll be a bit more switched on this weekend against the Cats. :p

Thanks for your comments too, I personally believe we are a HUGE chance for the three-peat, no matter where we finish. But the Swans are a pretty awesome side too, impressed me against the Crows in particular, and also against the Lions. So who knows, maybe we'll meet on GF day. ;)
