Anyone else watching this?
If so who are your favourites?
I have a soft spot for the lovely Amber - if only she can get on top of her drinking problem.
Kristen is clearly the early favourite.
Heather is my dark horse.

Yea I am watching it!
I watched the end of the first one and then the whole of the second one. Speaking of which, what has happened to Aaron & Helene? Are they still together?
I am surprised he picked that Christina? (30 yr old). He said himself that she was a tad pushy. Also that Tina girl (not the blonde) the other one who on the first night reeled off all her future plans with vacations for the kids etc... I am stunned that he kept picking her after his initial reaction.
Amy's drinking is probably going to be her downfall, and I agree that Kristen or Heather would be his fave right now.
Helene saw Aaron once in the 2 weeks after the show finished and then he told her he'd changed his mind and dumped her.
Andrew is sooooooo much nicer than Aaron (if not as good looking). I really like him.
I like Amber too, she makes me laugh! Go the ditzy dumb blonde who can't hold her liquor! :)

Oh God I am addicted to these shows - sad I know, need to get a life etc etc but..............I guess it is the voyeur in all of us. If anyone knows the winner and posts it on here I will hunt them down like a dog!!!
I am gobsmacked he picked Ambre - he has said he wants the sort of woman like his mother, who can hold her own, intelligent etc. When he talked about his dad and why he picked his mum it was fantastic. Then he picks this absolute ditz who can't hold her drink, doesn't know her own limits and doesn't appear to have anything between the ears!
I really think that even at this early stage he has made his mind up already, he will be picking all the others to convince him of this. If that makes sense.

bachelor 3 can **** off for all i care, bring back micallef but dont put it up against enough rope this time. axe 'this is your life' and 'rpa' if need be. back to the bachelor, people who watch (and furthermore enjoy) that show, are plainly and simply pathetic. get a life!!

It's not my fault that more people enjoy watching The Batchelor than Micallef!

i didnt say it was. just a reflection on how "sad and pathetic" our society has become when tremendously clever and brilliant shows get axed to make way for american tripe like the bachelor!!

Thank God!!! The drunk Ambre has GONE!! How high was the cringe factor on their date!!!
He is blind to Kristen, beauty or not she is not there for him but the lifestyle, money etc.
My smokey for the winner is Jen at this stage. We aren't seeing too much of her and he hasn't really talked about her yet she has gotten the roses and there is an obvious spark between them at the ceremony.
Next on the hit list? Cannot think of her name - but the dark haired girl who never stops talking but the friends said she was very emotional! She has to be gawwwwwn!
That show is full of CRAP. There must be something wrong with those who are in charge at Ch. 9.
I only see the occasional glimpse while channel surfing, but find this incredably distasteful. It is prostitution as a game show. Star-crazed losers whoring themselves for celebrity.
That show is rubbish. But I do think I'll be watching For Love or Money ... much better premise.

Liz is her name, blubbering lady that one.
My favourites at this stage have to be Kristen, Jen and Tina Fabulous.
Kristen is a total bitch but she's just so damn beautiful, if I were him I'd let her hang around right til the end just so he can get more alone time in the limo and in his private bedroom.
Jen is really nice, genuine, a real sweetheart, and not to mention, very cute. Tina Fabulous has a wonderful sense of humour (which you really see during the credits at the end) and a good personality. I don't find her as good looking as the other two but she seems like a great person (and what an arm!)
Liz and Christina are both too old and they sound very desperate. Ann-Michelle doesn't do anything for me either by way of her looks or personality.

I can't stand Christina, talk about cringe fest! When she chased him down the hall way, desperately asking him why he kissed her if he wanted to kiss others made me cringe!
I like Jen also and I hope she does well. I am not a big fan of Tina fabulous either, but at least she is better than Kristen.

It's so much fun watching the show when you know who wins. I laugh at the girls that I know won't get a rose or, at the later stage, an item of jewellery.

I will lose all faith in the male species if he picks "aren't I just the most gorgeous thing you have ever seen and I am so superior and I may just deign to allow you to kiss my cheek" TINA or superbitch Kristen, words fail me at how shallow she is, a puddle would have more depth.
GO JEN!! She is gorgeous and real and deserves him. He seems really really genuine.
I reckon people are being unfairly critical of Tina Fab. She comes across sometimes as a bit of a bitch, slightly up herself, but I genuinely think she's just trying to shield herself and not get too emotionally involved. Luckily for her, she's gorgeous enough to pull that off and still keep the Bachelor's interest.
At heart, I think she's got a wonderful personality, a great sense of humour, style, grace, spunk, plus she's athletic and good at sports. The complete package!
At the same time. I'm also a fan of Jen and Kirsten, and I was very happy to see him get rid Christina. And not before time too.
He's got some very tough decisions to make.....I was about to say I wouldn't like to be him, but who am I kidding, I would love to be the Bachelor :o

One does wonder how you can come to this conclusion given the episodes so far.
It just seems to me that people are believing what other (obviously jealous) girls are saying and then making up their own crap as well.
Shes a superbitch because shes there for him and not to make 30 other friends. pfffttt...what a joke. Good on her for not getting into all the bitching and jealousy that just about every other girl in the show has done. Good on her.
It is a game show remember. They arent there to make friends...they are there to win a husband.

Kristen is the only one with the guts to make it very clear she's there for a reason. What reason? To snag a husband. And seriously, aren't they all there for that?? That's what the whole show is about!
I love that she hasn't bought into the whole "I've made some great friends here" bull**** and is going about the whole show for the purpose it is meant for.
Jen is lovely and I won't be disappointed to see her win, but ultimately I'm going for Kristen. She's honest and hasn't compromised herself in the name of getting along with a bunch of jealous, phoney bitches to get her man.

It's such a shame that the Batchelor will pick Kristen. Blinded by her body and her looks. I wonder what he'll think in years to come when she starts to sag and loses her beauty.....
Oh wait...Like pretty much everyone who ends up together on these shows....They won't last longer than 6 months:D

I must say I am still in shock that he chose Jen over Kristen. I really thought that like the last one, the Batchelor would go for the superficial choice. But Andrew chose maturity, brains and substance. Well done!
LOL@Kristen sooking in the limo. She wasn't crushed at losing the man she loves, she was crushed because she's not used to being second choice and couldn't believe she was rejected. Her parting words to Andrew..."I want you to be happy" Her parting words from the show...."The thought of Andrew proposing to Jen, makes me wanna throw up". GOLD :D
I still think they won't last though :eek:

Saw my first 5 minutes of this show last night (hadn't seen either of the first 2 series)
All I can say is I hope he has a real good lawyer who can put together a real watertight pre-nup.

YAY!!!! does happy dance!! He so picked the right one in Jen. The puddle proved very shallow indeed, all the family looking for substance in her and finding very little. She was not there for him but what he could bring. Proved by her parting shots in the limo.
And whilst it may be a game show as such these are real people with real lives and I hope they are very happy. I read an article this week in a magazine that says they are still together but I don't know how long ago the series was shot.
How good was that series finale?
I thought for sure he was going to choose Kirsten but he made the right choice.
And that final bit where he told her that he loved her and he proposed and she just couldn't believe it, that was wonderful. They looked incredibly happy together, I was pleased.
I hope they can go the distance, and buck the reality series relationship trend.

That was so cool, they really looked like they were in love, more so than in any of the previous 2 Bachelor series. I hope they go the distance!
