Richmond Football Club will be holding a Members forum on Wednesday, August 27 in the Acacia Room at the Wantirna Club from 7.00pm.

Richmond's CEO, Ian Campbell and Greg Hutchison, Football Manager, will be on hand to answer all those questions members have been wanting to ask about their club.

The Wantirna Club is located at 350 Stud Rd, Wantirna.

I will be going to this. For you interstaters out there i am happy to ask anything that might be of interest.

Please don't waste my time and your fingers by asking ridiculous things. - Given that it is before the last round clearly they will not be talking about delistings and the subject of Danny will be played with a straight bat.

It would be good if you could give us some feedback on proceedings peejay. :)

This question will more then likely be asked ......but i'd like to know what direction the club will be adopting with respect to the draft.

Will they take a meduim to long term strategy maintaning all our early picks and building for the future. Or whether they are going to compromise this by trading away for already established players.

Unless i've missed it they havn't stated a clear direction with respect to rebuilding the list. Will this be along the lines of the Saints who have cultivated a good list over the last few years by not trading those early picks. If not what is the strategy and direction they will adopt.

it has been said that our recruiting manager has lacked support.

What infrastructure has been set in place to give Richmond a national recruiting network ?

Don't be surprised if they don't want to answer all your questions as i went to one of these a while ago & it got really heated & they will give you the brush if you don't follow the party line ...Cheers :) :D

I'd like to ask them to put out a statement in the renewal kits explaining what the strategy is for next year and beyond - no pics necessary, no gloss, just a simple A4 B&W piece of paper.

*****************
Another matter that I asked the club about this year was that as an interstate member, unless you buy a full membership (with entry to 11 games you can't see because you're interstate) you don't get voting rights - that is, you're not actually a member, you're just donating to the club. (Having discovered this I figure I should now just just donate some amount to the JD Foundation and get a tax deduction.)

*****************

If there's time you could also suggest they play those "big" drawing games like yesterday's at Punt Rd.

I have one for ya.

Do the tigers need to start rebuilding so that they can be a top side in 3 or 4 years time?

I have had a look at the tigers list and they have a very old list.

I'll ignore that.
