I am more surprised with the inclusion of Massie. He was ordinary for Norwood last week.

Surely this is just a temporary kick up the arse.
He wasn't even named as an emergency ahead of Hentschel!

Mind you even without the Hound & Benny, it is the best side on paper we have had for a long while. They better perform!

This is how I think they will line up:
F: ..... 17. Scott Welsh ..... 22. Ian Perrie ..... 5. Ronnie Burns
HF: ..... 40. Chris Ladhams ..... 2. Wayne Carey ..... 18. Graham Johncock
C: ..... 12. Robert Shirley ..... 36. Simon Goodwin ..... 24. Brett Burton
HB: ..... 15. Jason Torney ..... 16. Ken McGregor ..... 3. Kris Massie
B: ..... 7. Nigel Smart ..... 19. Mark Stevens ..... 9. Tyson Edwards
1R: ..... 35. Rhett Biglands ...... 32. Mark Ricciuto ..... 23. Andrew McLeod
Int: ..... 4. Matthew Clarke ..... 10. Matthew Bode ..... 26. Mark Bickley ..... 20. Tyson Stenglein
Its hard to pick starting 18 let alone the best 22.:D

Apparently he was given the ass after he had a run in with Gary Ayres last week

I wouldn't read much into it. He'll be back next week to line up on Chad Cornes.;)

I think you're pretty close there Stiffy.
Possible changes to the starting line-up could be Goodwin on a HB flank, Roo in the midddle, Stenglein in the 1st ruck on the ball and Massie on the interchange.

Yeah, I agree Stiffy is close with his line-up. Personally I would start Bode & play him for most of the game.

Bassett on form over the past month deserved to be dropped & as I said before, the coach showed he had lost patience with his form & antics.
You'd have to say that being dropped at this time of the year suggests he won't make it back for the finals & that will allow Stevens to play in defence.
To me he's a certainity to be offered in any trade deal possibly to the Western Bulldogs, Melbourne or even Sydney. If he's offered to the Bulldogs we could get Faulkner in return.........
I reckon he's played his last game for us !
All I want to see is a FOUR quarter effort. Can't tell you when our last one of those was!

Wrong thread - Blighty felt compelled to post the same post twice on different threads! ;)

One way of getting you post count up is to copy the same crap on different threads. Not something I would want to be encouraging, as it didn't read any better the 2nd time! :o

Give our new line up a couple of weeks to get used to the whole setup and with Hart and Basset to strengthen down back even further, into the finals, barring any injuries, we should field our strongest team that should only get better with form. It sounds promising, works well in my head.
