Wanted: Essendon Board Co-Moderator

In line with the policy of having two mods per team board I'm accepting submissions and nominations for a co-moderator for Stealth.

The person needs to be willing to help grow and guide the board according to the rules and philosophy of BigFooty.

It is a 30-minute a day job (at least), unpaid and someone will eventually hate you for it.

We tried to do this awhile ago but it sorta got thrown aside among more pressing issues. Thought now would be a good time to bring it back up, particularly since I don't really spend as much time here during the offseason as I would like (and I may be going overseas for awhile later this year).

I'm mostly interesting in having another Essendon representative for offering opinion, feedback, and input on the running of the site as well as another hand in managing this particular forum.

We have a large supporter base on BigFooty (like in real life) and I think we deserve having another voice in the running of the site.

I spend probably more time on the Essendon Board than anyone so i would like to do the job. Half an hour would be easy!

I could do it easy. I've admined many boards, and know what I'm doing. I'm on the net 6 hours or more a night (I know, get a life) and I visit BigFooty everyday! Vote the Young!

A large crowd gathers around a conviently placed podium. Stegelator steps up to the hot spot. He looks around, The Essendon fans of bigfooty are waiting, waiting to hear THe Great One. BomberAUS is handing out "vote1" pamphlets to help his course. Even Suzi has own little stand with her Vote1 pamphlets. Although none have been taken, and she is constantly getting spat on. As Stegelator looks at the dozen's and dozen's of Essendon fans he opens his mouth and yells " I Have a Dream that One Day..." He Pauses, the Bombers fan anxious to hear is on coming words... " All Bombers fans, be Black or White, will unite under two moderators, That Essendon boys and Essendon girls will post under the same forum...Moderated by Stealth Bomber and Stegelator." The Bomber fans start clapping, cheering, whistling, screaming to their hearts content. Stegelator steps down from the podium and walks to his car shaking everyone's hands as he goes.......

Youve obviously put way too much work into this campaign. It would be a shame for you not to get it now, or else all the good work would be for nothing. :D

im very new poster but i have run forrums withouver 4 million hits b4 :D :P I was Chief admin of the COmbat Zone gaming arena :P not that that will mean anything to u people.... but im happy and willing to give it a try......................

Stegelator steps up to the plate. he opens his mouth, and says "FINALLY, STEGELATOR HAS COME BACK TO THIS PODIUM". half the crowd cheers, the other half stands in awe, at his greatness. he begins to speak, "Now I here that some people around here, wanna be Essendon Moderator?" the crowd boos (obviously not directed at Stegelator). "But that fine" he says, "Nothing like a little competition" the crowd starts cheering again. "hell, may the best man win" he starts to walk off...The crowd stunned by his sense of sportsmanship but before they could say something, he gets back on the podium ands emphatically asks "woah woah woah ya didn't think i was serious there did ya?. I mean hell, of course the best man will win becuase the best man is me!" he proclaims "and to all those people who trying to take what is mine? uh uh not gonna happen. Hell, I aint gonna sit here tell ya to vote me, I'm gonna ask ya!" The crowd looks confused. "If ya want Stegelator to be Co-Moderator of the greatest board in the history of bigfooty, Give Me a hell yeah!" THe whole yells at the top of thier lungs..."HELL YEAH!" Stegelator exits the scene shaking everyone's hands and giving Suzie the middle finger on the way out......

Yeah, it's embarrassing. But I guess there have been a lot of more important things on Adrian's to-do list of late. This isn't even the first time I've tried; there's another thread back several months ago on this topic.

I think we might finally get an answer soon.
