She gave details of the affair. Then the hubby was saying how angry he was and wanted to puch Warne out - even though it happened after they had split. Then she was going on about how she talked because of moral reasons rather than money. I believe she had a polygraph test and was asked the question if she did it for the cash. She said 'no' and the polygraph revealed she was lying.

The issue here isn't whether or not Warne had the affair - I think everyone knows he is a womaniser. The issue is why this lady is talking. He hasn't done anything illegal - she is just looking for some quick cash. All these high and mighty people who judge Warne for being an adulterer - it isn't really their business to judge.

Shane Warne can be judged as stupid though. My mail is that he is a serial womaniser and whatever made him think that it wouldn't go public is anyone's guess. Oh, that's right, I forgot, he's a dumb yobbo.

But was the hubby p.issed off at the wife ?
In the paper yesterday it mentioned she's a serial celebrity shagga. She's supposedly bonked footballers, actors & other sports people.

Her phone number is 1800-dial-a-root.

it was exactly the most convincing thing I've ever heard from the chick on Today Tonight, but either way, who cares, it's his personal life and what's the point of her doing it??

Aside from getting the money that is...... :o

Surely the funniest bit of the interview was when she mentioned she was horrified her 11 year old son saw the messages.

Um...does the son know what mummy does for a living ?

Yes, I laughed at that too. In fact, her story bore a remarkable resemblance to Helen Cohen Alan's.

Warnie must have a stock standard text message. Would love to know what his phone bill is.

Isn't the 2nd part on tonight?

It obviously works for him.

I like the one where me txt'd her a message that he wanted to 'root' her in the toilets. What a champion.

Seems like the rumour that Warne was caught in the firewell of the Crown shagging a groupie is probably true.

Gotta feel for his kids.

Why can't this tool keep his pants zippered. He has a honey of a wife, more money than he can poke a stick at.

Shame he has the morals of an alley cat.

He is the best spin bowler we have had.

Lets hope he is not remembered for all of his off field problems over his brilliant cricket career.

Time to check in for some serious counselling Warnie, and hope that for your kids sake you leanr to be a responsible human being.

I wonder why she "really" waited until now to "come forward" the reason she gave is obviously bogus.

Says who?

These are just a reflection of your morals. What makes you so sure that your morals are appropriate for everyone else? He might have an open relationship with his wife. If he wife was ok about it, then what would be morally wrong with it? You're making assumptions without necessarily knowing the facts.

I think Mantis is the match for you. You can both sit around and discuss your righteous morals.

Thats the thing I couldn't work out.How does this stripper know Warne lied about the open marriage if she's never spoken to Warnes wife ?

You've also gotta feel sorry for the strippers son.If his mates didn't know what she did for a living, they do now.Imagine how much crap he'd cop at school over his mother making money out of selling her sexploits to the media.

Well she's got to make something up, well something else up anyways.

True, I bet most of her family would feel embarrassed aswell, and if it turns out to be false, then they will be even more embarrassed about this whole situation. While watching I was wondering, if she didn't want anything from it, why didn't she just mind her own business? It's obvious she wants to be an attention seeker, why else would she take so long to "come forward" I think that part would have hurt her whole story.

Don't you think she looked as though she's had a fair bit of plastic surgery ?

The eyebrows couldn't move.
It's a fair bet the $80,000 she got will go towards finshing of the surgery.

Personally, I don't believe that sportspeople, actors, or anyone in the public eye for that matter (maybe politicians could be an exception) are obliged to present themselves role models.

Just because one has certain physical capabilities or skills does not necessarily mean that you have to present oneself as some model of moral perfection.

What I do object to, however, is when these very same celebs who overstep the general public's view of what's morally or legally acceptable then seek to access all of the benefits that come with being seen as a role model.

Warne's infidelities have nothing to do with me. If his wife is fine with the whole mess, then that's for her to deal with. I've met her a number of times, and she seems like a lovely lady. Maybe a litle too tolerant, but lovely all the same.

Same applies to ol' Bill Clinton - if Hilary was okay with her man's indiscretions, then that's all I need to hear.

But if Bill, or Warney, or whoever, then carry on as either a moral guardian for society, or seek to tap into making money from the public by being seen as "a good guy", or "a great dad and family man", then I really take exception.

And that has appeared to be Warney's problem so far. If he just bloody well fronted up and admitted that he was a bit of a ****, and you can simply take him or leave him based on that, then I'd probably be able to engender quite a bit of respect for him.

But he doesn't. He still carries on with this hopelessly-misunderstood, holier-than-thou act, as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

To further illustrate my point ... what Tim Watson's wife thinks of him allegedly shagging female newsreaders is her business ... but when he's then presented with a "Father of the Year" award, I get a little hot under the collar.

Todays paper says she's lost her job at The Mens Gallery after her TT interview.Appartently they think its bad publicity.

Its a strip joint,so how badly can you publicise the joint ?

Heres the story

Herald-Sun (http://www.heraldsun.com.au)

Stripped of work and integrity

31aug03

STRIPPER Angela Gallagher may have picked up $80,000 for the telling of her alleged fling with Shane Warne.

But it is doubtful anyone is left to pay her for her tawdry stories.
Ralph editor Angus Fontaine confirmed he had been asked about featuring Gallagher.

"It's true that Harry (M. Miller, her agent) and I have spoken, but it's doubtful Madame Gallagher will be appearing in the pages of Ralph," Fontaine said.

After the rash of unwanted publicity, Gallagher has been asked not to return to The Men's Gallery, her place of employment.

Industry insiders say Gallagher, who was not popular among other performers, has few friends left after her TV tell-all.

"She should take her 80 grand and relocate to a non-English speaking country because no-one wants her back in Melbourne," a source said. "By doing what she has done, she has put stripping back 25 years."

And there are doubts she was in a "serious" relationship with Warne.

Several people this week said Gallagher was seeing at least two other men at the time she was involved with Warne.

Others suggested she wanted a quick way to pay for a Mercedes Benz.

When Gallagher's husband Paul was asked about the allegations he hung up in my ear.
