Apparently there were two Peter Bourkes.

I remember the chunky bloke who went on to play for Box Hill.

We always used to say 'good Bourke work'.

Was he grouse. I reckon he was.

Peter Burke was running around in about 1984/85 I reckon. Bit of a goer. Blond hair, healthy pink cheeks.

Fat Pizza is correct.

Interesting question there Mobbenfuhrer, would they be a pair of "Bourkes" or a pair of "Burkes"?

I don't know if anyone remembers a karaoke night the Roys once had at a pub in Carlton ... hang on while I get Melways ... it MIGHT have been the Queensberry, and David O'Connell was the best voice of the night?

At that event, P. Bourke was continually goading me and Higgsah to get up and sing, but of course we refused ... 'cause we was too cool.

Peter Burke was injured, when the flat he shared with Mark Weideman burnt down. Burke jumped out a window & landed on concrete. The other occupants landed in the garden.

Doug Hawkins has claimed that he & Steve MacPherson were not responsible for the fire, despite allegedly being seen arguing with Weideman earlier that night.

Is that when he found he could no longer player at the elite level?

He went to Box Hill with Wilkinson and Duane Rowe (and Mark Trewella too I think!)

It wasn't the Queensberry it was **** named after the street the Fenwick Inn, Mark Scott was the players social person along with his gorgeous wife Di.
Used to have a few functions there something to do with a couple of players working there, the guy who was bar manager Eddie Hardy.
Later he ended up running a video hire shop over the road from Dan O'Connells, he was a member of the Lion Hunters.

Which was it again? Your name for its been censored. It was definitely not called the Fenwick Inn. I remember it was owned or part-run by John Platten, from memory.
