Was this the game where Ron Alexander kept belting the ball out of bounds as time ran out on the great suothern side stand of the ground. I can also remember a game against the termites in the early eighties when Gary Wilson poleaxed Jimmy Jess. My memory also tells me that Mick Conlan was knocked out by Malthouse in this era? Any ideas?

Wilson's bump on the Ghost was a classic. It was a real role reversal.

Conlan wasn't knocked out, but did have his jaw broken by Mad Micky Malthouse.

Yeah, the Wilson/Jess and Malthouse/Conlan incidents were on the Queen's Birthday, 1982. I think the evil BT may have had something of a field day that game. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/frown.gif
