I miss you boys,but if there was one team who continually annoyed/stuffed us up it was the Roys.I remember my first final,the `79 elimination,thumped,thank you Fitzroy.
1981,and a chance at some revenge,Wilson goes mad and we are rolled again
1986,you all know about that one,bloody Conlan,did nothing all day.Our first game as a home tenant at the m.c.g,play fitzroy and the roys go for some percentage,absolutely thumped,94 points at 3/4 time,we kick a few to make it respectable.
The great man Tim Watson`s 300th ? thumped again by the Roys,ta very much boys.Although we got one back in 1983,I would still say Fitzroy have it over us in games that counted.Bastards !!! Shattered at the way those afl pricks raped you.

Yeah, I always liked playing against Essendon.

A lot of Essendon supporters I know seem to be fairly pro-Fitzroy. Perhaps the two clubs, at least on a level for supporters, have some sort of mutual respect for what each other stands for . . . ???

That MCG opener eye-opener, I remember the Bombers didn't just make it look it respectable. They were down 15 goals, and kicked eleven in the final quarter!
