An Idea For The Hawthorn Game

I was thinking today that Sunday's game would be an ideal opportunity to bring out that controversial heritage guernsey for one last run.

Now, before you say "but it would just clash too much with Hawthorn's jumper", first look at the adntages of such a situation.

* Imagine Shane Crawford inadvertently putting a few beautiful passes lace out on the chest of Richo. Richo would literally be wondering what hit him.

* Contemplate a few of Spider Everitt's deft taps landing in the grasp of a fleet-footed Mark Coughlan for yet another centre clearance for the Tiges.

* Chuckle at the look on Ben Dixon's face as he gets gang-tackled by a a handful of Richmond players he thought were actually team-mates shepherding for him.

* Find some use for Matty Rogers by sending him into the Hawk huddle at 1/4 time for some intelligence on Hawthorn's game plan.

Or we could just come back from 50 odd points down at the 20 minute mark of the 2nd quarter and win by 20 points just like we did in round 5 :p
