The banner for Fitzroy's last game in the AFL had the names of every Fitzroy player, who played more than 90 games for the club. Why did they choose 90 games, instead of 100?
So they could accomodate a few stars who played less that 100 games . . .

Yes, Eddie Hart, who played 98 games for Fitzroy between 1941 & 1951 in a career severely interrupted by war & injury.
On his return from the war, Eddie kicked 17 goals in a Reserves match.
He also led Fitzroy's goalkicking for 5 seasons.
In one match against South Melbourne, he soccered the ball through for a goal to tie the match. The ball smashed a lady's glasses & Eddie offered to buy her a new pair. She said "Get on with you. It was the best goal I've ever seen!"
Eddie's career finished in style, with him kicking 7 of the team's 8 goals in his last match.
In later years, he was a stalwart of the Fitzroy Past Players Association.
He'd have to be a chance for the team of the century, too!
