I was going to go up to Ballarat, till i realised my son Auskick starts again this Saturday morning at Beaconsfield.

My son can't wait for Auskick again,bought him a new pair of those golden puma footy boots and a brand new Hawthorn jumper with number 23 on it,at least he will look the part.

Breust and Murphy have missed a bit of footy, and Guerra missed playing last week so it makes sense to give these guys a run.

Interesting that Guerra and Whitecross are named but the other emergency for Saturday night, Puopolo, is not.

Very interesting team.

Whitecross named: very strange much like Cheney can't remember if smith was named.

Back to the point of my post, where is young wanganeen? He has been training so why isn't he playing? This kid has huge potential as an x-factor and for me is the missing link for us in 2012-13 as a garlett like forward pocket who is quick can tackle and kick goals.

I left 1/2 way through the last and we were up 13.13 to 4.6
Largely one way traffic. Don't know the youngsters, but Murphy and Cheney played. Goo and Whitecross weren't sighted.

Cheney was good coming off the HBF, Murphy quieter at CHB with not a lot to do. Both had runs on the ball in the second half. Murphy doesn't look right and copped a knock in the third. On the basis of today's effort he looks a month off for mine.

Both played back and there wasn't really much asked of them. Murphy was just getting miles into the legs while Cheney ran about and did as he pleased. He was one of the better players IMO.
