If they get 4 tickets each, how much of a dent could they put in the availability?

I think there are about 1000 harbour masters.
Not a lot. As FD said, there are about a thousand, and they could buy up to 4 season tickets each, so 4000 max.
No member should have any problems getting reasonable seats. And even if ever member bought a ticket, there will still be about 15,000 left for the general public.

I have heard some where that the Harbour Masters have been allocated 3,600 tickets , Essendon supportters get a crack at tickets aswell & I reckon they will have a good 2,500 fly over for this one on top of their supportters club in WA , Essendon may well have about 5,000 fans all up. I reckon it will be a sell out , the only concern is the prices for the tickets which may price some people out.
2500 fly over? Knock it off. The Herald Sun indicated 'hundreds' are making the trip. There'd be maybe 2500 Essendon supporters there in total. At the most.
And you might be right about the prices. $42 for a crap seat behind the goals is pretty steep.

I reckon behind the goals seats are the best.
The crowd is definitely the loudest and that is where the excitement is.

You've obviously never sat in block 116. Those seats are shocking, its impossible to see the other end.

Yeah, but only when the ball is down that end, when it's up the other end you don't really get to see what's happening.

welcome to the joy of the finals. AFL corporate style.
i remember that choco williams was complaining about the price of the finals tickets a few years back. he was of the view that a lot of their (ports) fans wouldn't be able to afford them. IIRC they had a pretty poor turn out to their final.

I don't care how much I pay...I just want to be there! :)
we were in section 342, behind the Perth end goals, a couple of weeks ago. We really liked those seats, but they have most likely long gone!

And the ticket prices in Adelaide are cheaper than in Perth. Actually, the ticket prices everywhere else are cheaper than in Perth. We should get a salary cap allowance for higher cost of living over here. ;)

Typical, greedy West Australian Football Association.
