for the footy to begin.

Bring it on. Who will be fit and will the 'fringe' players be able to stand up in the absence of the Scott et al?

McGrath had a night out, but may have a more mundane job in the back half next week.

Notting had a limited run but has big game experience.

The midfield is looking better and better, the forward structure, with a functioning midfield, looks good.

The back half has been patched and wallpapered enough times this season for whoever plays down there to know what is required of them.

I can't wait for this game.

Voss, Lappin, Akermanis, Power, Black to run rampant. Keating and Charman to win the rucks.

Despite injuries, the Lions to be just a wee bit too strong, determined, passionate and hungry to let it slip. The Pies will be wiser than before but will hopefully wilt under the pressure.

I'm hoping we can repeat that Round 19 performance, how good was that? Leppitsch was still out and Leigh gave Johnno limited game time.. White, Aschcroft, McRae, etc.. all the veterans were on fire and Johnno Brown ripped 'em apart. And Chris Scott was a late exclusion. We still had alot of injured players out and still managed to spank 'em. I'm hoping it's the same but i doubt it. It'll be a close game.

I'll agree with that, there's a lot to gain by winning, and I honestly reckon we have enough depth to cover the injuries.

If we win this one, then it's straight into a Prelim, and just two more wins from the magical three-peat, so I'd expect our players to give it their all on Saturday night. :D

BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!

Im so excited and scared at the same time - injuries are a worry & we wont get the same start as last time but the players will give it every thing they have got cause the boys know how to give up!

Somthing that I am conserned about is that we contually let the opposition ruckman block the hole for lynchy to go into and other defenders are allowed to leave their man to gang up on him sometimes 4-5 at a time???

Our players that get left alone need to create another option to goal so that the opposion think twice about leaving their man to help their full-back

Just watch out for Notting. He was in sensational form when he was on the ground on Saturday night. He looked very hungry for the ball, and very fit, for the first time in a while.

Despite our Collingwood 'friends'' claims, he would have taken mark-of-the-year, if he'd held it, on Saturday.
