i hope. ;)Pah! Put it in the record now. No hoping about it my friend. Your lot are an absolute shoe-in. Playing in front of the Collingwood army, on home turf, under perfect conditions for you (showers are forecasted for Saturday). Nothing can possibly go wrong. On top of that, youse have got a day extra to prepare, Brisbane have a shocking injury list they will probably have about 7 players out who would normally be in their first 22. Oh while Collingwood have a full list to choose from. (Don't feed me that rubbish about Wakelin he is a certainty - this is Collingwood we are talking about) Not to mention that fact that the Lions played on the hardest surface in the country on Saturday night and even the players who are fit will be stiff and sore, and a lot of them aren't and weren't 100% fit anyway. Youse have had the perfect preparation for the finals, a good win against a quality Adelaide team, a terrific win up in Sydney in wet conditions (similar to those expected on Saturday night), and then a brilliant fighting win in finals conditions over Essendon. Your tough draw has hardened you up for a real shot at the premiership, whereas on the other hand Brisbane played a fairly soft freeflowing running game against the Bulldogs, and as a result they are going to get a culture shock on Saturday night. Anybody who has Brisbane (or what's left of them) as favourites on the weekend is kidding themselves, there is no way Brisbane can possibly win, they are just rolling out the red carpet for Collingwood to waltz down to a premiership.

I'll be surprised if we bother to turn up. Lay-down misere. Not worth the bother. Only going to get more injuries. We should be concentrating on next week.

Now, wouldn't that cause consternation?

We concede.

No, I think we should show up, just to see how much we can be beaten by.

Perhaps we'll create a league record!!!!

I reckon you guys would start favourites considering the win you had again us a few weeks ago. So, ALL the pressure is on Brisbane. :D

Exactly Voss has not been that great of late, bucks has been superior to him. Bucks has a much bigger engine and would run voss into the ground. Put voss on bucks fat guts, i dare you. :)

I think ALL our players are below AFL standard and should all be sacked before they disgrace the club and the league any further. :o

I was looking at Buckley's stats since the merger - He's had 30 or more possessions against us in all bar 3 of the ten games played between the two clubs, but the Pies have only managed to win one of those ten.

He tends to play very well against us but he doesn't seem to be able to convert the weight of possession into wins for his club. You'd think the Pies would win almost any game in which he got more than 30.

We will have the record score kicked against us this week, just like Geelong did in the early 90's.

Regarding the favouritism, no one has faith in us. And that is absolutely correct. We are at $2.10 and Collingwood at $1.65 at the TAB. We don't deserve the favouritism, we havn't played great of late. Collingwood have hit the finals in better form than us, they have the home ground advantage, you're right, we stand no chance.

Oh and by the way, we have to get something out of the game. I mean you're right, we won't win, but we have gotten Collingwood and Eddie furious by being allocated the seats behind the goals for the cheersquad. We have to have some consolation for losing by a big margin this week, surely?

Shhhhhh........

BOM, you're giving away our match plan.

I hear we are going to concede Buckley at least 60 possessions this time, 55 of which will be between fullback and centre wing.

Bucley will be judged BOG by all and sundry but the Pies will still be scratching their heads trying to figure out how they lost by 10 goals.;)
