View Full Version : To all those ...
... who felt the need to go post smilies and well phrased prose about how they wore red and black, or cheered essendon last night on the Freo board int he last 24 hours, I hope you enjoyed the karmic retribution your childish, ******** behaviour deserved..
To all those who managed to not, and there are a few of you decent posters on this board I especially direct this at I just wanted to post a quick note to say unlucky - a good season cut short by injuries, and better luck next year.
When's the cricket start?
Thank kuepper,
I am one of those that wanted a WA team to win this weekend. I hate (with a passion :D ) the dockers twice a year, but was fully behind you guys last night. I cant understand how any eagles fan could support the bombres after the sh*t we have copped from them over the years.
Our effort today was very, very average and it sure is a bummer of a way to end the season. Yes injuries hurt us, but we fell down badly in committment levle today. Cousins in particular was magnificent in defeat, but we left too much for to few - the story of our last 5-6 games.

I am a dockers supporter too, and we have copped crap all week from eagle supporters radio, internet, newspapers etc
They should learn not to go shooting their mouths off before they play too.
I also dislike the eagles twice a year and I even sent them a good luck email (and any of you who may know me know how much I dont like the eagles not the team in particular but their supporters who cant seem to forget their past history) because I felt that freo got all the publicity this week and I felt for them but then again it was our first final.
I really believe now that had we played each other in the finals it may have been a better game we always seem to step up one notch with derbies, however I felt that both teams were just plain stuffed after last week.
While I agree having a derby in round 22 wasn't a smart idea, we have no excuses. Our list was exposed. We just aren't good enough.

Im really dissapointed that both WA sides are out..... I didnt think we'd win, but i at least thought the dockers would have. Oh well it was just as great having both our sides in the finals and was great for the state...
Now come on Brisbane or Swans knock off those stufn vics!!! (and port and crows- hate them too)
BTW... i was going for the dockers last nite...
we were worse than freo even if i dont like them at least they led on the scoreboard at some time

I disagree. We were undermanned and injured whilst playing away from home, yet the Crows had to keep their better players on the ground for four quarters. Freo were at Subi with a parochial ground and Essendon got 10 goals up. They rested Hird, Lloyd and others in the final quarter and put two key defenders into attack to give younger players experience. If that had not happened it could well have been a 100 point plus drubbing.
Undermanned and injured we may have been, outplayed we may have been but we fought til the end and Freo didn't. No comparison.
And I wore red and black last night, childish person that I am, and cheered every Bombers point. Freo are our rivals in this state, it's all about passion. I support two teams. WCE and whoever plays Freo.

I mean really Frodo - does this need to become an Eagles vs Dockers issue ?
Talk about ****ing into the wind...
Both our teams are out, and a summer of talking up our chances and listening to no hoper fans of other teams awaits.
Eagles got smacked, Dockers got smacked, all thats left now is to feel sorry for ourselves about the loss and look forward to next year, bugger what the other mob are doing or have done (and that goes for Dockers fans too..)

hahah, our year lasted a day longer than that mob down the road ;) ahahah!!
nah seriously, taking the ****, but anyway, disspointing both WA teams got knocked our in a row, but that's life and you move on.
Im glad Fremantle are out, now I only have to see the Bombers and Collingwood lose and Ill be happy. Bummed about WC but we werent good enough on the day. We will be back better than ever next season.

Disappointing way to bow out it was, but what can you do or say...all the signs pointed to us receiving a heavy loss during the week, and that is exactly what happened. We tryed hard, but were just simply outclassed in all attributes of the game. Adelaide's skill level well preceded ours on the day.
Another disappointing note is the fact that we finished 8th again, the same as last year.....and also that Fremantle finished 7th.

That's so last week Carny my good man.
I am now hiding in the bushes outside a pharmacy in Canning Vale for that extra special stalking kick.
I change the recipient of stalking tactics like Frodo changes football teams, sorry.

Too early IMO! I need at least a month of Richie and Tony calling the ING matches before I can sink my teeth into the test matches in November. None of this October test crap.
