No need to rush for tickets to the actual game.

Hahaha.

Could just get the train over in the morning and 'walk in' to get seats on the fence.

I think we might see more bombers fans there then Port Fans. Could be like a home final for us.

Im heading up with 15 of the most feral bomber supporters you have ever seen. Im almost ashamed to be seen with them. But if any violence breaks out they are sure to be involved. We copped a lot of abuse last time but we wont take any **** from them on sat night. 2 buses going up. One for us and the other for the grog.

We have got plenty of bomber fans in SA so lets hope they get out in force and make it a neutral venue.

Thinking about it.

Never made an interstate footy trip (for this code anyway) and have been wanting to when the time was right. This week might be it. Of course, I'm pretty much broke at the moment; would have to be on the cheap.

Ya need a lift stealth. Plenty of room in the second bus with all the grog mate. Just promise you wont drink it all:D

Definitely going back - Perth was too far - but adelaide definitely - I hope we smite them - but am not confident at all.

I was thinking of getting a coach over. Anyone else doing that?

8 Sep 2003, 21:47
We hired a couple of mini buses. I think a geelong/colac supporter group was taking up a coach but im not sure. Whatever transport you have got you wanna make sure it can move fast. You dont wanna hang around adelaide any longer than you have to.

8-9 hours to drive - if you push it and essentially don;t stop you could make it in 7 - but if you value your life bank on 8-9 hours.

i am driving over - ROADTRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't surprise me if the Warrnambool supporter group are going over. They went over last year. They offer good deals, but I don't have the time or the money to go.

What a ridiculous comment to make.

Seeing as though last time i went to adelaide my brothers windscreen was smashed in.And headlights smashed. Doors keyed and we got booked for not having working headlights. So excuse me if i dont have fond memories of the place.

Stereotyping over here on that one incident is stupid especially when you have collingwood in victoria.

I've organised my trip over. I'm getting the "coach express", which means I am leaving on a bus at 11pm Friday night and then the bus leaves directly after the game, meaning I sleep on the bus trips both ways.

Wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you, so tell me where you are sitting. I wouldn't have a clue where my seat ticket is. I havn't even seen it. I booked it all over the phone.

And when my bus gets into Adelaide at around 8am, what the hell is there to do in Adelaide until 7:30pm?

Place carved up bodies in Vats of acid. Or, you could smoke pot.

I hear AAMI stadium is in West Lakes? Where the hell is West Lakes? Is it within walking distance of the town centre?

I'll be with 15 other blokes walking the streets of adelaide with our bomber guernseys on making plenty of noise. I dont think ive seen so many bomber fans say they will be making the trip, Should be a fair contingent turning up. If we win there will be a fair party outside the ground afterwards.

Nah, don't think so. My mate from sa said to stay away from there, it's full of ferals. I think we can get the bus in to it. Have you got carlas number? I'm meeting them in the city as well, so best give her a PM to find out where to meet up.

West Lakes is an absolute dump of a place, the ground is right next door to the shopping centre, also a dive, around 15-20mins drive from the city. Not much to do there in the city though. Head to Glenelg, probably 10-15 down the coastline.

West Lakes isn't that bad. It's not a bad suburb. Everyone should go into the city on saturday afternoon and make a bit of noise in there then make your way down to AAMI late afternoon. A lot of Essendon supporters will be meeting at the Lakes Resort before the match which is located a few minutes walk from AAMI so try and get there if u can. Come on Bombers!!!!!

The lakes resort it is. The mere prescence of bomber fans can only make the place classier

It depends which part of west lakes. Right on the lake where the resort is, that is a great area and houses cost a fortune but on the other side of the stadium it is pretty rough housing etc. You have the right idea about heading to Glenelg, the best area in Adelaide.

If we win l'll head so Joplins.
If we lose l'll head to Joplins

Joplins is a dodgey nightclub I came across last year when I went over for the game, similar to the Grand in Essendon so it's a shocker. But for you single folk out there, there was plenty of Dirty ho's about.:D

About to head off to adelaide in an hour. Looking forward to a great game and some wild celebrations afterwards. A win gets us a game against the filth and it would be great to get some payback. Adelaide will never be the same after the bomber army invades.

wat species of woman do they breed over there?

I do remember seeing some fair sorts when i went in 99 to a crows v bombers match. But im attached now to a fair sort of my own so going to perve is off limits now or thats what i tell the girlfriend anyway;)
