View Full Version : Just for the record...
.. where did we finish? I think with Essendon winning, we finished 8th which means our first pick is #11. Does anyone know if this is correct?

We finished 8th. Fremantle go 7th because they finished higher than us in the H&A.
That means we get pick 11.
1 Priority
2 Priority
3 Western Bulldogs
4 Carlton
5 Melbourne
6 Richmond
7 Geelong
8 St Kilda
9 Kangaroos
10 Hawthorn
11 West Coast
I just edited this so it is correct.

Carlton don't get their first round pick (#5), but do get the priority pick. So our first is number 11.

nice.
Where did we finish last year? 7th? Still a good job by Worsfold to get us into the finals in the first 2 years. Unless we get Jon Hay, I hope we keep our first round pick this time.

We finished the h&a season in 8th, but lost in the first week by less (in terms of %) than North, so they ended up 8th and we finished 7th. So they got the draft pick ahead of us.
That's why I was hoping we'd not let the margin get too big on the weekend.

2 - Priority Carlton
3 - Priority Melbourne
4 - Dogs
5 - Melbourne
6 - Richmond

Not if you had wagers resting on which WA team finished higher :)
