Anyone got the low down? I can tell you that South Australia are going to be very, very difficult to beat.

the South Australian's have always been strong in this age group.
Keiran Lahey - very good batmsen, but his attitude could be the problem - from NSW will definetaly be there.......
Jim Day is also a possiblity. I use to play a lot of cricket with him, but haven't seen or heard much about him for 2 seasons....
The other is David Warner, who is still eligible for under 17's, but has been played first grade last season, so he'd be in the u/19's team IMO, and he will also go close to the Australian team - an absolute freak.
Not really sure who else, I always played against guys in the age group above - the guys that played in last years champs like Hunt, Bird, Bright, Allsopp, Nupier etc,.

Skewes (NT), Paine (Tas - im in da squad too ;)), Ferguon (SA)
Paine is the best keeper/batsman in the country (U/19) IMO, and skewes and ferguson are two of the best batsmen.
SA will be strong, Tas might give a good shake up... brilliant batting line up, average bowling.
Skewes is a great player, in training with us for the moment, but playing for NT.
Also look out for Mark Liddlewood who came over from NSW to SA, and should bat 4 and bowl first change.
Dan Francou and Cullen Bailey are all class with the ball.

U a good chance for the team Guey_34?
Play in the U/17's 2 seasons ago in Melb? I was there...
Big wraps on callum ferguson hey? spose u'd be training with him 2?
Nah, the is the first time I've been in any State squad... Probably a 40/60 chance to make it... I've been injured for about a month so I haven't been able to bowl. There's not long till selection, so I have to get it right.
Ferguson has trained with us like twice, I think he's doing a fair bit of work with the Academy or something.

Yeah, been going about 8 weeks now, mainly net sessions... always been a fit squad with not enough nets, this year we're focusing more on the technical aspect... much more fun ;)

Thanks...
We're doing alright this year, but lost prob our best bowler and one of the best batsmen due to personal reasons and uni etc...
Still, will have about 6/7 from last years team. Batting will be good, bowling bit light on.
I'm a batsman btw. We have 3 keepers who would make it in on their batting alone in most states, so they'll be in. Not long till the season gets under way... i'm pumped!

The ACT will be hard to beat...again.
The year i played we were bowled out for 42, chasing QLDs 2-500
declared...The year Cassell broke Bevans record in 3 three digs.
It was a very good year.
Something for the rag and bone man
Well it would appear stress fractures have ended my run in the U19 Squad. I'll post the SA line-up as soon as I get it...
