Ok to take a bit of the stress out of the week..oh how I love finals footy but jeez..can be tough too hehe..just thought I would start a lighter thread..
Ive got Lions number plates and I love them and its amazing now in Brisvegas how many people comment on them..has anyone else got them?
I saw a car on the way to the footy the other day and it was maroon and it had writing of premiers back to back etc in yellow..looked fabulous!
By the way my plates say 02BTB as in 2002 Back to back :D I really wanted to buy 03OMG as in 2003 Oh My God this year ...hmmm the jury is out at the moment! Fingers crossed!

Yeah there are a few of them around now! One dedicated supporter took the logo to an autobarn (or the likes) after last years GF and had them make up the decals for her. Once ppl saw them they went to the same store too to get them!

Hehe one of the ladies in the shop asked me if I knew who drove that car! She has seen it around a fair bit and was wondering if it was someone who worked/volunteered at the Gabba!
We've got them too plus there are two other families in our street with them as well so business is good. We were a bit boring though and just went for our initials and the year we moved to QLD from SA... HJG 87 says ours. The reason we went so bland was we couldn't agree on the slogan or the numbers to use!

i got my plates last year - and i love 'em. ended up going with PKY13 for one of my favourite players. only problem with the plates is that mine have faded a fair bit...oh well, don't we all!

Mine read AFL97, couldn't resist the foundation year of our club.
The fading of the plates seems to be very common, mine are as well. Maybe should contact PPQ???
Hope to see these on the road to Sydney with mine next weekend

I too have seen a maroon Commodore with the two yellow stenciled lion decals and the 'back-to-back' slogan above, parked near the Gabba on occasions. The logos seem to blend in well with the Holden Lion insignia. Perhaps it could be a good omen, with the three lions...

Late last year my dad got rid of his Holden VT Calais for a Citroen C5. Although I can't forgive him for selling out our nation's premier autmobile manufacturer, he did restore some respectability with his PPQ Brisbane Lions number plate - GOL 03 (GO Lions 03). Hopefully we can get over Sydney (and then probably Collingwood) to make it 3 in '03!
btw, one of the only good things to come out of having a French car is the national anthem that comes with it :)

Yeah true lol..Ive saw aka12 the other day and I just see mixed ones all the time its fantastic..Brisvegas is going off with them!!
