There shouldn't be any question. Poults only problem for his career has been a lack of pace and Essendon aren't the fleetest team going around.

Poults a lack of pace? Geez hes not the slowest person going around. Hes a lot quicker than Kinger and Cochrane.

Everyone knows how much i love poults. He should be in the side.

With the Maggies not playing this weekend, does his exclusion mean he wastes away not even playing?

Speed isn't the only thing in pace. Anticipation can be just as important, and in AFL football often is. Poults would beat Kinger or Cochrane in a flat race but he can be left dead in the water by nippy forwards.

Well Essendon have included the retired Paul Barnard, this has me suspicious. Is it a mind game that Sheeds is including Barnard who said he played his last game a few weeks back, that Barnard is a smokescreen for Mercuri to take his place just before the match? Or is he going to be a wildcard to go out smashing heads ala Bolton 2002. Maybe Choco is playing Kevins games with reverse psychology and keeping Kingsley in if Barnard plays to be the Port Martyr or dropping him for our first emergency to confuse Kevin into such a state that he will never want to come back to the 'House of mental Illness' ever again.
But seriously, If Barnard does play, I think he will be going out with a bang, I believe Port can match Essendon but once side is going to suffer the next week from suspensions considering Port and Essendon seem to always cop the worse from the Judiciary.
If it comes to this, hopefully all our side wears number 29 and end Adam Kingsley's AFL career with a record suspension.

:)

Poults might be left for dead by the nippy forwards but Kingsley would be that far dead he would be buried.
