how is nick stone still on your list? he is a dud.. cant believe the hawks let box hill boy john baird go elsewhere before stone.

Unfortunately, Baird nominated for the draft and the Roos snapped him before we could have a go at him.

He's hopeless, even against Werribee he looked out of his depth...So too did Harford, the quicker we trade him the better.
He had a set shot from 20 out, slight angle and missed everything. 300k a year well spent.

Nick Stone is a capable defender for a 3rd or 4th forward and has a lot of guts for his body frame. He's a battler, but he'll remain on the list next season for height reasons.
Nick Stone never wins a contest! Cannot punch, mark, or tackle.
Always a step behind his opponent, he gets flgged every week, even for Box Hill!
He takes sooooo long to move the footy. He gets a free kick in the backline then takes 30 seconds to decide to kick it backwards to Smith! You watch him, very slow in moving the ball.
From the last few games at Box Hill I would give Tim Hazell a go, watch him this weekend, he knows it's his last chance to stay on the list. Hazell will run hard, dive for marks and have a go. If he can stay fit he could fill a Barlow or Stone role.
