View Full Version : Most Irritating songs on the radio now??
Having been sick for the week, I've been listening to more radio than usual and I tell you what, some songs are ok, but some just give you the ****s.
Songs such as both of Evanescense's songs need to be burnt and the band just paid to never sing anything that sounds like them again. They sound too similar.
Kelly Clarkson and Miss Independent, who in the blue hell buys crap like that?
When I get you alone by Thicke - Who here can honestly say they like that song? Well if you do, sit back and look hard and long at yourself, if it still floats your boat, lock yourself in a very dark room for at least a week.
What the hell is up with all this rap hitting the airways - Are the teenagers of this country too tied up in being someone else and buying this ****? Or is there another reason?
What the hell is up with female rap, since when could chicks rap? Mya and Blu Cantrell - YOU CANT SING!!! GET OVER YOURSELF YOU TALENTLESS HACKS!!!!
What is music coming to these days...
I admit I like the Black Eyed Peas and the current Sugar Ray song, but out of the top 40 currently, I have 3 songs. Who the hell is purchasing some of the filth on our radios??

There is a HEAP of crap on the air waves at the moment, actually there has been for quite a while now. (Maybe I'm just getting old!) That's why I listen to my own stuff or 3aw when I can.
But there is one song at the moment that I can't switch off fast enough - Get Busy by Sean Paul.
Enough to send the meekest mildest person postal.

I find pretty much everything on the radio irritating and well, boring. :) The main radio stations, that is.

Let's see...just about all of them?
Wish I had a bullet for each of these artists:
Sean Paul, R.Kelly, Thicke, Evanescence (both their songs. I agree, they sound the same), Kelly Clarkson, Amanda Perez, Ja Rule, Nelly, Stacy Orrico, Avril Lavigne (still get at least one song a day), Daniel Bedingfield - the other day we got three of his songs, and that was just between 11 and 3. Two within 15 mins of each other - Jewel, Mya, 50 Cent, Blu Cantrell, Pink, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback...OK, all of it. I think today I've heard just about every single one of those artists, and at least two of them twice. Ohh, and what the HELL is that 'Midnight' song? I hadn't heard it til the start of this week...now I literally hear it three/four times a day.
They can keep playing Justin Timberlake though....;) Good morning Senor ;)
Kids are purchasing so much of it because they are BRAINWASHED WITH IT. It's all the commercial radio stations will play, because...well...they have to. And of course kids - and most people I know - think it's good music (and the only music), because it's all that is played. It's a vicious, vicious cycle. Radio plays, people listen, so radio keeps playing, people keep thinking it's good...ARGHHH. Please address all hate mail to Coast FM (http://www.coast.com.au)

Just about all of them, especially the rap crappers, and especially the fairy floss sheilas, and especially the guys "whose balls aint yet dropped", and especially the pre-teens who sing with so much conviction about subjects they know nothing of, and especially the no-talent, brainless, half dressed Morlocks who figure covering a great song, from great entertainers and great
writers, will legitimise their own ascendancy to "rock'n'roll" immortality.
If it wasn't all so much of an assault on a blokes auditory senses, I'd feel sorry for the talentless bimbos & hyperactive nobodies suffering from pubic flea infestations.

For the past few years I've been sleeping through video hits and just getting up to watch the footy. But in the last few weeks I've had to get up early to play golf. I was watching a bit of Video hits after getting home and I couldn't believe the amount of talentless hacks babbling about complete crap.
There's been an influx of useless rap, dodgy teenybopper songs and eye candy (hey one out of three isn’t bad).
Video Hits - INTO THE BIN!!!!!

Sean Paul is just like Eminem and all those other "rappers" these days - boring as batshyte. Give me Ice T anyday over these monotone blandness merchants.

Anything by Delta bloody Goodrem. All of her singles so far sound exactly the same. A bit of variety would be nice. Im sick of hearing 3 of her songs everyday.
I hate the fact that the radio at work is on SAFM. Commercial music these days is so pi$$poor its not funny.

Pretty much. Even JJJ isn't as good as it used to be.
Thank you to Jane's Addiction for "Just Because".
Even if it gets played just once a day, it's four minutes that commercial radio isn't complete shoite.

Yeah that bloody annoying Amiel song where she just keeps repeating the same line over and over ad naeseum, i think it's called 'Stupid Love Song' ( is that the same song where she does a rude version with the 'f' word?) She is sooooo lame and desperate to be cool.

Right now, that song by "Jet". The one that goes "Oh your so mine I really wanna make you mine....big black boots, long brown hair"...etc...
Conservatively I've heard that about 20 times in the last week.
