Just a thread trying to figure out how many WA players will go in the draft this year. From what we know, the probables are
Kepler Bradley
Farren Ray
Matthew Moody
Jacob Surjan
Matthew Spencer
Brent Hall
Callum Burges
Chris Johnson
Other possibles are
Michael Pettigrew
Llane Spaanderman
Michael Johnson (WAFL)
Adrian Curley
Matthew Priddis
Brett Peake (WAFL)
Brent Bosustow
Courtney Moores
Adam Rowles
Adam Edwards
Daniel Chidlow
Peter McGennisken
Dylan Harper
Brad Smith (WAFL)
Ricky Mott (WAFL)
Can anyone make changes to this list?

Sera, Your probables look about right and I think you can add Spaanderman from your possibles list

There's a kid from Mandurah, Peter(?) McGennisken who seemed to be able to play a bit.

Yep, seen him play for Perth quite a few times and has soundly beaten some of the Eagles listed forwards like Ashley Hansen and Troy Wilson. I think he will get drafted.

Brent Hall, 198cm ruckman/forward will be taken.
Mark LeCras is too young so he can come off the list.

Yep heard Carlton are interested in Ricky Mott who is probably surplus to requirements at the Dockers. Brad Smith? The only team I can see taking him is the Eagles and even then I have my doubts. Wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles take Michael Johnson with a late pick. Spencer and Burges will get drafted.

The Richardson from Swans is Paul Richardson. As a member of the AFL/AIS squad he is automatically invited to draft camp.
Brent Hall, Paul Richardson, Chris Johnson and Farren Ray were all members of this squad. 75% or so of players in this squad go on to be drafted.

Dasler, I've heard conflicting reports on Chris Johnson.
What's your take on him? Any good?

Illosis, i watched him play in East Freo v South Freo earlier this year and he was quite good. Taking marks, kicking goals etc etc. Looked a very likely prospect. As the year has gone on he has gone downhill in a big big way, for more reasons than one due to injury etc.
IMO shouldnt have been playing at State 18's, is worth a go this year but wouldnt play league football for 2 years atleast. Looks like he could be handy in the future though.

35 BRADLEY Kepler

Bradleys yesterdays WAFL Prelim final Stats, he was 4 th best in the paper. West Perth played great footy from the second qtr
He is very agile for tall and could play most positions
I think he will go top 2, 3 or 4........I think West Caost or Freo will trade for an early pick to try and get him.

That makes no sense spook considering we were talking about Chris Johnson of East Fremantle

Others might not think so but I think Bradley is a gun. I would very much like to see the Eagles trade for a high pick and try and get him. He wouldnt last much past pick 4. Maybe a combination of Cox, Hansen and another tall from another club like Croad, Rocca etc (in exchange for pick #11) to the Bulldogs for pick 4, if they would take that...

Hopefully, if the Bulldogs keep Pick 4, Bradley will still be available. Can't see the Bulldogs letting go of pick 4 unless something they couldn't go past came up. Not sure of Carlton & Melbourne's intentions, but you'd imagine Carlton would try for Tenace with pick 2 as a midfield boost, and I've heard whispers that Melbourne may try for Raph Clarke or Colin Sylvia with pick 3.
I pray daily that this is how it works out!!!

IMO Kepler will go one of two ways, he'll either be an out and out superstar or he'll be a wasted talent. It's so hard to call atm because of his ungamely style.

You must want Bradley pretty bad if you are willing to part with a package of players and an early draft just to move up to number 4. The problem for West Coast is that you would still have no assurance that he will still be available.
