Sorry. Classic game on Hird last night. I hope you take your rope to Melbourne this weekend and give Buckley the same.
Funniest part I thought last night was when the ball went free to an Essendon player and instead of leaving his man to create a contest he just stayed with Hird and the Essendon player then handballed it straight to Hird thinking that Cochrane would run at him but Cochrane just unleashed another tackle on Hird closing the ball up. Quality.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been if Cochrane had grabbed Hird in the goalsquare in q2 instead of plunging into his back. Although umpires look after ird and probably wouldn't have paid holding the ball against him.

He played a great game.

No apologies needed.
He played a great game last night and he has done other similar jobs during the year. Pavlich and Goodes come to mind.
However lately he has not done that well, and last week was quite bad.
He got a kick up the rear for it, then come out and blitzed. Good.
Hopefully he will do so every week from now on.

Good game. Perhaps Choco could initially leave JT out of the selected side v collingwood and then bring him back in at the last minute, hopefully it would fire him up too.

Brilliant game, Mr Roach, Sir! Strange perspective watching it on TV. No Hird, still no Hird. Commentator mentions late in the first Q that Hird has no possessions. Still no Hird. And so forth.

Last quarter, suddenly we're seeing lots of Hird, the Basket Case! Frees, turnovers, wonderful!

Just the next two will do! Great game by SC, but the job he did on Hird and the job he did earlier in the year on Goodes only leaves the inexplicable decision not to have him wear Goodes last week even more of the ****ed up coaching decision of the day.

I don't see him getting the job on Buckley next week though. He'll wear either Burns or Licuria in my opinion.

...
That plus having Stevens in the forward line were interesting decisions to say the least.
