IMO there's nothing better in footy than the mighty Cardies flogging the bejesus out of East Perth

Anyone remember why they changed their name to the Falcons? Also Joondalup is very hard to chant before *clap* *clap *clap* So I think it will stay West Perth in the near future.

Actually I suspect some people turned away from the club when they moved out of Leederville. Some more turned away when they called themselves Joondalup for a year. The point is, I think the demographic of West Perth supporters has changed over time, not really the traditional 'garlic muncher' types we all once knew and loved.

I think what Q is saying Sera is although the physical demographics of supporters might have altered (as you'd expect in Perth given the last 50 years history) the culutre / spirit is still the same ie garlic munching is not an ethnic term, it's a football term and a derogatory one at that! :D

Anyone know how many premierships West Perth has won? And who has the most? I think the Sharks are first and the Falcons 2nd on the premiership table...
