Booked mine over the phone a little while ago. Not great seats but atleast i'll be there. Couldn't wait to get them through the club, no bastard is answering their phone!!

I'm in Section M6, in the forward pocket infront of the Great Sth Stand.

I'm not going, because I couldn't find any suitable entertainment in Melbourne for the 2 hrs I will have to kill. Damn boring cities.

Booked mine via the cheersquad. I may have a bit of a problem getting them posted to me because I'm leaving to go to Melbourne on Wednesday. I might have to arrange to pick them up from the cheersquad at the ground.

I did find this funny from the Herald Sun:

'Collingwood members snapped up about 15,000 seats yesterday, and Port Adelaide members a further 6000.

The AFL last night said 7000 tickets remained.'

That accounts for a whole 28,000 tickets being sold.

Doesn't count AFL members, MCC members, corporates etc etc etc etc et ****ing cetera.

Good point, Porthos. Maybe the SANFL could broker a deal with the AFL so that AAMI Stadium has the same AFL status as say Telstra Dome and SA AFL members would be able to buy $8 finals tickets. Of course having these memberships would impact on the value of SANFL memberships. I won't try to offer an answer as I'm not an SANFL member so I don't know exactly what is involved, but I'm sure something could be worked out.
