What are your thoughts on the rioli incident

I didn't think there was much in it, but it would certainly get pinged for `reckless rough play'......like most of the other incidents Bomber fans are whingeing about on the main board.

It'll be tough for us to get up against the Pies with the 10 or 12 players missing that we'll apparently have.

Nah, nothing in it... I wouldn't like to see the AFL's response if it was one of our players doing it however.

Any suspension that Rioli receives won't directly help our premiership cause, so I couldn't really care what the result is.

I don't think he'd go for it.. if he did he'd only get about a week. It did look accidental.
Though.. I did not approve of him giving Gav 'the bird'. If there is one person you NEVER do that to, it's Wanganeen!!

U MUST be joking

He wasn't even looking at ****er wanganeen and he tripped. Wanganeen slipped also and Rioli wasn't even looking at wanga so id be pretty ****ed off if he did and wanganeen obviously didn't take the hit 2 well cos it didn't look like he was reconciliating with Rioli afta.

Who are you talking too? Everyone said there wasn't much in it.

IMO it wasn't a huge incident, but then again I only think there have been 9-10 truly reportable incidents all year.

Agreed, but I've seen people go for matches for that kind of thing. Remember Russell Johnston?
As to Rioli. Will he go? - Yes. Should he go? - Based on the(at best)bad decision or (at worst) blatant cheating in the Brodie Holland case -No.

I've read this several times over and I can honestly say I don't understand a word of it. Take a breath bomberfan. ;)

I don't think he should be suspended. Looked accidental to me as well.

On the other hand, Caro has just said that we play Essendon first-up next year.

Change of heart - guilty as sin - suspended one week (for being in the wrong place at the wrong time).:)

His record is terrible, that wont help him.

If Holland from Colligwood did it then i'd expect a royal pardon. As it was Roly then he is probably under the hammer, same as if it was P Burgoyne who did it or Fletcher or Chad Cornes.

Really he didn't mean it but that doesn't seem to mean much if the act was a little reckless, which it was.
