Navy. As much as I like the royal blue wings, I just take one look at some old shots of the navy jumper, and suddenly nothing competes...

People are quite welcome to their opinions, but there is a reason why a lot of clothing is made in a navy blue colour and barely anything is made in royal blue - BECAUSE ROYAL BLUE IS AN UGLY COLOUR.

Navy blue 1996 by a mile.

I rather liked the ochre jumper.

I voted for the premiership jumper, simply for the memories i think.

I also loved the navy blue jumper (totally nit-picking but I'm pretty sure that was introduced in 1995), and would love to see the home jumper become a navy blue version of the also excellent current away jumper.

The current home jumper is not to my taste AT ALL.

Voted the navy blue - with a small current logo on it. (loved the little white piping it had too!!!!!)

In my ideal world that would be our home jumper, with the current home jumper our away strip.

The away jumper is the one for the kids to buy - I'd rather mess with that than the home one. Besides, it's a very good looking, very marketable jumper.

But the demented budgie version? Nuh uh. Busy, overly complicated, and despite having been around for 4 years it still has zero iconic connection to the club. I still look at it and think "oh yeah, that's ours isn't it?"

Bin it. With prejudice.

Not the BGC thing - that was a terrible jumper. What was with that terribly misshaped beak?

I like it - it's different (especially the way it includes the WA coastline in it's design), modern and attratctive, and a perfect AWAY jumper.

The kids agree. Go to any sports shop around town and ask them which footy jumper sells best.

It's all opinions, and you may see no connection with that jumper to your club, but I've got many good memories in it.

The BGC pre-season jumper was tops. Was never a big fan of Navy blue being incorperated into the Eagles and the 94 premiership jumper is my favourite.

Being a newcomber to this board its probably been talked about before, but is there any reason why the Eagles didn't wear their original jumper (circa 87) for the clash against the Crows in the foundation weekend match? I would have loved to see the new generation of players run around in the same get up as club luminaries like Zanotti, Gastev, Turner and Keene. Purchasing an old school jumper would have been pretty cool as well.

I don't believe we should have a home and an away jumper as such - rather a jumper and an alternate jumper. We should use the navy jumper for the majority of games - regardless whether we are at home or away, and use the royal jumper against clashing teams such as Richmond and Carlton - regardless whether we are playing at home or away.

This may not give teams like Carlton, Coll, Essendon, Richmond and Melbourne any incentive to use alternate strips, but the AFL will make that decision in time. I'd be happy to bring out the royal blue five or six times a season.

Agree with Bunsen - ditch the away jumper for an alternate jumper. With a navy home jumper it makes sense.

My favourite is the training jumper, I don't know how that was relegated to training jumper and we ended up with that second rate blue thing with the ironon transfer
