That's what i was wondering, although as KD pointed out they were waiting, now they've gone, so there should be plenty of room for us.

There are MCC members who got their tickets before you, plenty of Port Adelaide supporters from Victoria and South Australia. There may be 80,000 of you there although there are nowhere near that number who are prepared to backup their team with membership. I would expect Collingwood to have more supporters, they are the home state team after all. But with Victorians who want Collingwood to lose and our own supporters I would say the support should be 75/25 or even 70/30.

Sorry if it came across like that, mate. It was meant to be a joke - obviously you're not a Collingwood supporter. The:rolleyes: was meant to signify I didn't believe what I was saying.

I don't think that many supporters of other clubs could be stuffed going to the game just in spite of Collingwood, especially with the difficulty of getting tickets and the rised cost of them.

There were very few if any full priced tickets available to non club members.

But then again there were only 28,000 full priced tickets, according to the AFL.

40-50k MCC,AFL members, series ticket holders, corporates etc will turn up, many who aren't supporting Collingwood, but have it as part of their membership so will go.

There will only be 10k or so more club members than will attend the GF.
