Could anyone fill me in on Doug Scott and his chances of being rookie listed by Hawthorn. I saw his match against Werribee on Fox and thought he was tops....How old is he? Is he on the rookie list already? Why so green and lonely

He's 23, just played his first year at Box Hill after previously playing for Donvale. Has never had a proper pre-season before and is a "late Bloomer" according to Libba.
Very good chance of being picked up. It would seem that HFC have been trying this year to get age changes to the Rookie List criteria. Unsuccessfully though.

He doesn't seem to go too badly, and he looks a fair bit like Don IMO.

No I didn't. I haven't seen much of Doug either - just repeating what I've heard and read.

Doug is too old to be rookie listed. Cut off age is under 23. There is talk on another forum of him being picked up as father - son. But that means useing a third round pick on him. From all reports I am not sure he is worth a being drafted at all let alone a third round pick.
As for Brennan he is along way off of senior footy yet. Would be doubtful at this stage that he would get a game next year. Would have to improve allot.
