Heard on the news tonight that St.Kilda and Carlton are seriously looking at a straight swap come the trade week- Matthew Allan for Heath Black. As far as i'm concerned, that would be a win-win for both clubs.

Also heard that Carlton was looking at Anthony Jones from Fremantle. He has been told to look for a new club next year, he is 28 years old, and played 80 odd games in 9 years. Not sure if he is the answer!!

Also heard on the same report that Carlton are looking at making as many as 20 changes to their list next year, supposedly through retirements, delistings and trades - ok, here goes

1. Adrian Hickmott (retirement)
2. Brett Ratten (retirement)
3. Mick Martyn (retirement)
4. Glenn Manton (retirement)
5. Andrew Merrington (delist)
6. Andrew Eccles (delist)
7. Jim Plunkett (delist)
8. Luke Livingston (possible trade)
9. Scott Freeborn (delist)
10. Justin Murphy (possible trade)
11. Matthew Allan (possible trade)
12. Simon Fletcher (may trade, probable delist)
13. Sean O'Keefe (delist)
14. Anthony Franchina (may trade, probable delist)
15. Corey McKernan (possible trade)
16. Andrew McKay (possible retirement)
17. Ryan Houlihan (possible trade)
18. Ian Prendergast (possible trade)
19. Simon Wiggins (possible trade)
20. Blake Campbell (possible trade/delist)

Heath Black for Matthew Allan.

Priority Pick for Trent Knobel.

Both are win-wins?

Get real. We'd want a ****load more than Allan for Black.

Jones isn't bad and would play a role if he was picked up, but I think he would be best suited to a side that isn't rebuilding like Carlton are.

Houlihan and Prendergast have been told that they will be at Carlton next year. Apart from the guys that have already retired, Carlton will trade or delist a definite 14 others, all of which are on this list.

Whitnall wll be up for trade, strong chance he will be in new colours next year.

My mail says this as well. Chances (by looking at statements in the media and other clubs' lists), it may be Geelong. They have midfielders and we all know we DESPERATELY need midfielders. There's another on the list that hasn't been posted yet. My mail says that Beaumont will not be at Carlton next year.
