Seriously, so many clubs are in the hunt for a player-like characteristics that Jacobs provide, definetly Port, wouldnt be suprised to see him go there, they already have 3/4 of the dons formers.

Essendon need to play there cards right, they could get a Kerr definetly, but dammit i want judd!

also we should get Alister Neville in the draft, looks like a great backman, strong hands, good body, captain of vic metro... noones been talking about him

That is a harsh assessment of Hille. I reckon he's a teriffic player with a bright future. He would have kicked quite a few goals this year and I reckon was a pivotal player in our second half of the year run to the finals. As for Jacobs I reckon we deserve something big for him (that's IF he goes) because his player type are difficult to find.

doubt we'd give Kerr up. As much as I don't like it, if we did trade away one of our midfielders, the most likely would be Fletcher*, but it would require more than just Jacobs to lure Fletcher away.

*On reflection, we may actually trade Kerr because he is a good footballer, but I don't feel he is any better than Fletcher, but because of his reputation from being a gun youngster, we'd probalby get a fair bit more for Kerr, but at the same time, be losing a player of pretty much the same trade value as Fletcher, if you get what i mean....

Hille has missed two easy and vital goals in the last 3 weeks of footy, 25metres out straight in front against colliwobbles and 15 out 45 degree angle against port... those goals coulda given us a run on, we worked hard for both of them...pretty ordinary in my book. Really, Essendon would be happy with any young ruckman that showed some toe this year, seriously, we havent had a decent ruckman since Merritt/Madden, and Fish was a great ruckman, but o no sheeds had to put him foward.

Barnesy was great for us in 2000 and was a huge factor in our dominance over the competition. I know it was only short term, but, you can't say we haven't had a decent ruckman since Merrett/Madden.

From what Ive heard from friends and television (both unreliable as ****) the incident with Kerr and Cousins mite help contribute to him leavin the beagles.. From what i remember cousins threw him down a flight of stairs at a nightclub... or something along those lines.. would love to see Kerr in red and black =] more then i would brown...
