It's long, but well worth the read and raises some interesting points that make you think about the Giants and their position heading towards post-season/pre-season.
Obviously the Giants situation is different, as they are building a club from the ground up. But some of the principles will remain the same. However, it will be interesting whether the Giants recruit some senior bodies to help the team's development. Young players coming into an existing side often take a few years to find their feet and go in and out of the side until they come to grips with the pace and skills. The Giants wont have the luxury of slowly blooding new kids, so it will be interesting to see whether the Giants' development takes a different turn to say the ones of St Kilda and Geelong, as highlighted in the article.
All in all, some food for thought though.
