My actual team came like 5th last season.
The year before that we came 1st in the season and were the best team losing just 1 match in the season. Though we lost in the Semi Finals. The team that beat us ended up losing to Weribee who we beat 2 times in the season.
Hopefully My team can have a better season this year although I doubt it as a lot of the team went up to the next age group.

Damn... never realised how successful we were that year.

Last season my club had A, B, C and D grades in the finals. As well as the under 15's and 13's finishing 5th place.
As far as results went, the 2nds and 3rds were knocked out in the semis, the 5th graders one the grand final and we in the 1sts lost the grand final.
The side we lost to in the Grand Final had their A, B, C, D, E, under 15 and under 13s in the finals.
Their A grade won the flag, B and C runners up and E grade won the flag. D grade were knocked out in the first week.
There under 15s won the flag and the under 13s lost the semi, that is a pretty damn successful year, I say.
we won the sydney grade club championship twice in the last 4 years, and i've played in 2 grand finals, though didn't win either of them.
Our school lost a showdown with Riveriew in the GPS comp when i was at school, so i'm yet to claim a grand final win.... though our junior team (Cromer) won every game for three years straight :D

I play for the Murchison Cricket Club in Northern Victoria, and we play in the Kyabram & District Cricket Association, we're a small but great club but we haven't been ultimately successful for a long time now, (It's been around 40 years since we won a flag, but 10 of those years we were in recess, coming back only five years ago).
Well our first's lost thier fourth Grand Final in a row last season (they've got the Colliwobbles or the Power Failures), and our seconds managed to finish second last with four wins, a great result considering that we've only won four games in the previous three seasons before last season. (to be fair, the league did introduce one day games only for B Grade last year).
I play mainly in the seconds as an opening bat, I do O.K, but I often have to steady the ship since that most of our players are under 18. (i'm the old fart in the team at 23).
My cricket club has had very little on-field success in recent memory...
