Congratulations to the mighty Falcons, Cardies, West Perth, Team of the Red and the Blue.

My god, that was one helluva party last night.

It's a Grand Old Flag on the flute at the ground, CC on $4 special at Joondalup afterwards, the players had a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarvellous time - as did we all.

Well done to the Falcons, tough scrappy game, they had to fight for it.

Luke Toia tried to fight for it too :)

Bloody awsome performance by the mighty falcons!

Don't think I've ever cheered so louder than yesterday. Lecras looked more than capable of taking the next step to AFL ranks.

Congratulations to West Perth. Always had a soft spot for the Falcons because of John Wynne's association with them as a player and coach.
We get very little coverage of WAFL football over here so I've had to follow there fortunes from afar.
Who coaches the Falcons these days?

Well done to the garlic munchers.

Subiaco's window of opportunity may have passed with all their retirements.

Im happy for the Cardies as they are the only WAFL team to get off their rear and move to the people, rather than some clubs who can't cut their apron strings with the inner city where there are no kids.

It's a grand old flag!

Unfortunately I could not make it (and no I'm not a bandwagoner - made it to 8 of the games this year) as I was at the hockey state finals but I caught some of it on the tele.
Fan-bloody-tastic!

Say what EKA? :p

Dunno about that. Our ressies won & hopefully a lot of them will end up playing more games for the seniors next season.

That is illogical, captain. Subiaco's reserves always win - but it never seems to translate into a League flag.

As for next year, very hard to say. I think a lot of the top teams are vulnerable to retirements and drafting of young players and it should be a pretty open race next year. Both Freo sides should improve, as should Perth. Only the hapless Peel can be completely discounted at this stage for a Finals berth.

I'm still celebrating this year though.....

I am still trying to get over the loss that Subiaco had on Sunday.

Congrats to West Perth.

Was it 2000 when they took out every grade except the league? :)

The news around town is that South Fremantle is sniffing around John Dimmer (West Perth's director of coaching) and 1999 Premiership Coach.

I was wondering if there are any West Perth fans out there who can help me.
John Wynne played for West Perth frpm 1965 (?) to 1969 before transfering to Norwood in the SANFL.
I would like to know how many games he played for West Perth, and also how many goals he kicked.
