If the players are taking paycuts why the hell is your club talking to Greedy I want 500k a year Natham Brown

Exactly, as much i would love to see Brown in the Hawks colours next year, it makes you wonder what is going on at the brains trust at glenferrie. How they can justify half the club taking paycuts only to chase a bloke who wants squillions and also a 4yr deal.
Hawthorn also spoke to Carey last year, will probably speak
to Stevens, etc. - it would be remiss of them NOT to speak to any
name players out of contract (who knows what would come of it?), but it certainly doesn't mean that they WILL draft/trade for them.
Talk is cheap, and it costs nothing to listen so why not here what he has to say. (besides they may want Kingsley Hunter back!!!)
