Lots of talk about BK this week, I love the gut to bits but not as much Brent. I have done some research on our (Brent, Micahael, Francis and Me) hero BK..

Ben Kinnear was drafted to the Collingwood Football Club from Central District in the SANFL, he was selected in the National draft with pick number 56.

He was ahead of players like Richard Vandenberg ( pick no 78) and Guy Rigiony (77) and NAthan Thompson (82)

Bk made his debut for the club in 1998 in the round nine clash against Port Adelaide--He had 11 disposals

In his first year as a AFL Footballer he played 5 mathces in total from round 9-13, in which he averaged 6.8 Disposals per match.

In his second year he played a total of 7 Games this time improving on his old average of 6.8 too 7 disposals per game.

It was in the year 2000 that he finally got his main chance at AFL football playing a total of 17 matches for 154 disposals averaging 9.

2001 Was a very sucesfull year for BK in terms of Brownlow medal votes he received his first and only brownlow medal votes a best on ground performance against the dogs in rd 19. Finishing that year of with a Band, for the last four rounds BK averaged 17 possesions. For that year in total he averaged 14 disposals. By now he was firmly installed in the AFL's elite players...( LOL, )

In 2002 he only managed one ripping game for 13 disposals and4 hit outs, he was also emergency for the grandfinal.

2003-has prooved once and for all that BK is more then capable at AFL level. Playing one game in the first 13 rounds in rd 6 he managed only 2 handballs. Later on came back with vengence in rd 14 to 16 averiging 8 disposals and falling victim to a schocking ankle fracture early in rd 16 when he started the game with a bang.

Then he was too many a surprise inclusion into the team in rd 22 against Essendon when he had 11 disposals. In the two finals he has been in ripping form also getting 9 disposals against Brisbane ( one more then Vss) and in the Pre lim he was Best on by a mile with 16 Disposals and a ripping goal, (joke not BEst on, but close too)

He Will end up with a premiership medalion around his neck.

Through out his so far very colourful carrer he is averigeing 9disposals per game.

On the Weekend BK also brought up his long awaited 10th goal of his long but jepordising carrer.

BK owns and manages his own fitness place.

BK has his own fan club with three dudes holding a banner and wearing Collingwood guernsy's with no 28 on the back

So there you have it the low down on BK

Both he and the fan club will be gone in about 2 months time. Will be the shortest lived fan club in the history of fan clubs.
Re-read the stuff you wrote and you will see why?

Brings a tear to my eye. Ben has been in fine form and does excatly what is asked from him, and to the dismay of the fools that bag him, a premiership medallion is warranted this weekend.
Perty doesnt have a clue.
Murray, you still wont ease up. Ben has been fantastic and will line up at the first bounce on saturday. He wont get traded, but if he does he will still be a champ and trust me there will still be a BK fanclub.

Did you see the story on BK on CH10 sport? If you did, you will hear exactly why Mick Malthouse has faith in him, and why he will be playing this week. Top effort for perseverance Ben. Hope the BK fan club have a great time this weekend :)

If Benny does his job on Saturday, and contributes to a Premiership victory I will quite happily manage the Tasmanian division of the Ben Kinnear fan club. I doubt it will be much work, however... ;)

If that happens, I'd tell you what I'd do for the BK fan club, but I don't think it's suitable for these forums.

If your interested in numerology, Ben Kinnear is the only player who has a birthday on the 27th!! Think about that.

Hey the Don, you know what id like to see? Id love to see you one day regain happiness. I wish that you one day break through a smile and rise from this bitterness. One day maybe get laid. One day, maybe 2moro, maybe next week, maybe next year, but we will all be here for ya mate, so feel free to dump on us your baggage and stupid comments. We are all friends here.

i'll be smiling tomorrow night when the pies win the flag. Who knows I might even get laid tomorrow night . Depends how the missus is feeling. However one thing won't change. Ben Kinnear won't be a decent footballer. He will be a premiership player but he won't be a decent footballer and any pies supporter who has watched him play over the last 5 years will tell you the same. Hell he isn't even a decent VFL player. How he's getting a game is beyond me. The best I can come up with is it is to increase his trade value so Choco thinks he is a decent footballer. 1st round draft pick and Kinnear for Stevens. Sounds good to me.

Interesting stats about Ben Kinnear are some good omens for Saturday and future.

Ben plays his best footy in the day, suprisingly since 2001 he has averaged plenty of disposals and takes a fair amount of Marks.

As i am part of the BK Fanclub i have said enough.

Cheer, Cheer Ben Kinnear.....
Cheer Cheer Ben Kinnear.

Have you seen the banner up and running since the Qualifying Final. GO BK 28.

Heartless and hopeless. If he's not delisted there's something wrong.

guess_who
28 Sep 2003, 08:48
The funny thing is he is way stronger then Fraser. Fraser needs to buff up he is scared when he goes in the damn ruck. Pls god send us a rough, tough, crash, bang ruckman like Keating.

As for BK being delisted, so will Betharas, Molloy, McKee and McGough they will either be delisted or most likely they will try to trade them...

I sincerely hope the ben Kinnear debate is closer forwever. See ya Ben. Thanks for your efforst but you aint good enough I'm afraid. If The Dogs will take him with Molloy, Williams and Freborne I will be delerious. If we can get some thing for McKee as well then even better.

Bye Ben!

While I respect most of your opinions, that is not one of your best.
