Would be very pleased if he came here to the bombers.

Hopefully we wouldn't lose much though.

He is exactly what we need, but i have my concerns. What do we have to give up? How much $$$$$ does he want? What is his attitude like?

the problem in getting brown is not only who we trade for him, but also, who is forced out by the salary cap. if he came we could lose both jacobs and solomon, which would screw the team quite effectively

Pick 12, Bolton and Henneman?

Hird and Mercuri on the veteran's list and misiti on a reduced salary if he stays should create a bit of space.
Plus we no longer have to pay a percentage of Blumfield's wage at Richmond after this season I think.

I think Danny jacobs name would be thrown up in trade talks with the Bulldogs which would also create some space.

Doubt the Dogs would get a better offer than that. Wouldn't free up our salary cap though - might have to throw in Misiti and take a 2nd round pick off them ?

Jacobs, Misiti and Henneman would be awesome for us but i doubt it will happen
Jacobs and a 1st rounder is more likely

Hille and Bolton or Bolton I can handle (real potential as opposed to crepe or over-the-hill), but these other crocks, sheesh ........

You must be kidding to think Jacobs, Misiti or Henneman would be attractive to other clubs.

Pardon the interruption, but isn't Nick Stevens more the player you need? A really quick midfielder.

Most football judges would rate Jacobs well ahead of Bolton. Younger and a better footballer.

either of them would do the job required. Brown has been All-Australian playing as a midfielder/half-back and as a forward, so he's that bit more flexible.

IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD SOLOMON'S DEMANDS YOU CAN'T AFFORD BROWN'S. BOTH WILL BE AT TIGERLAND NEXT YEAR.
GUARANTEED.

I was wondering where John Elliot's briefcase ended up. Turns out it was Punt Road.

Yeah Richmond, just go ahead and take Solomon and Brown and not worry about what you might have to give up in return.

Coughlan and Ottens would be nice ;)

i think we'd gladly give you brown for jacobs & soloman ... thinking that brown would be reluctant to go across, however, if soloman left (i.e., both great mates).

cmon give us a break, the "long fix " never worked. If you guys want solomon bad enough you'll keep him just like we did Gaspar when Freo F$^%$ us over a barrel with a deal we had to match when they were over the bloody salary cap.

From listening to 3AW today I reckon sheedy is scamming you guys anyway, their mail was solomon is being hawked for what they could possibly get.

Nothing like a beat up to deflect any heat from the natives, nahhh sheeds wouldn't think of that now would he ...just ask Hardwick
