Just got home from the Sydney concert and I cannot speak highly enough of this guy's work! I loved his music but his concert was AWESOME! :D
Has anyone else in Sydney or Melb been lucky enough to see him this time around? If so, what did you think?
He didn't come to Adelaide *shock* so I missed out. But I saw him on The Panel and he seems like a great guy. I'm really loving his new stuff at the moment.

My sister went to the Melbourne one and she thought it was fantastic... shes a big fan of the guy. Always listens to him music.

He should take up comedy, saw him on the Panel and he was good value.
As for his music: I wish I was deaf.

I went to the Sydney concert and he was great. People who don't like him don't understand why his supporters love his music.

Great show, the performance ALMOST made up for sr4e gushing on about how godly John Mayer is every 10 seconds.
It's a subjective thing, but I really love his songwriting, and unfairly, he really CAN play too (unlike the rest of us hacks who make do with the opening power chords from "smoke on the water").

My g/f and a couple of her friends went last Thursday and they just raved about it. One of the friends is also a muso and spent all night just sitting and studying Mayer and his guitar playing - said he was just absolutely brilliant.
