Typically the Eagles could only manage to play a half of football at best.

Hentschel was the only one to stand up for them - however his decision making does need to improve. The rest well ... glad the Crows got rid of Goldilocks and where was Skippy??

Well done West - the Bloods played hard, desperate, committed football. Should be a great GF!

Hardly think the Eagles choked !!!!! They beat a side last week (or 2 weeks ago) that were supposed to be far superior in all areas. We were beaten today by a side that have dominated us all year and won 3 more games than us. As for the AFL duds, Shirley was injured early and didnt return, Hentschell and Bock I thought were in our top 5 players. Skipworth was the only AFL "dud" to disapoint, and has done ever since the Crows selected him for those 2 games where he looked totally lost. No excuses today. Westies far too good. Hopefully we learn, bolster our squad with a couple of "mongrel talls" and turn up to play at the start of the match rather than after Qtr time more often than we did this year.

Central's have played a total of how many games in the last month? One, or two? West are match fit, confident and most of all, HUNGRY. They did to the Eagles what the Eagles did to Sturt what Sturt did to Central's. They played well today and really deserve to be in the Grand Final.

If you're referring to something being dominant, hard at the ball, well supported and proud, then yes, whatever you are referring to is typical Central District.

Well done West on a good win yesterday. Played well, took up the revs when threatened by the Eagles in the third term. That mark of Salim Hassan towards the end of the match was magic of the variety only produced by bravery and eyes at the ball.
However, hope its your last win of the season.

Eagles were beaten by a more fancied opponent on the day. Hardly a choke, the traditional port powerless variety we have come to love & expect each september. Koulouritis & Cassisi played very well - which makes sense as the gun coach, choke-o, never gives him a go at the chokers.
Our upset win over the reigning premier the final before reminded me of the way sydney ambushed the chokers of pap.

You must be shattered that everyone is leaving your stinking sinking ship at alberton, and airing all their dirty linen in public.

Typical of the port chokers. Your sponsor even backed collingwood, because he knew you would choke out before a grand final.

Good luck to westies in the grand final against centrals.

You are accepting finishing 3rd in a 9 team state Competition and the PAFC can't accept finishing in the Top 4 of a National 16 team competition. No wonder your beloved Eagles failed once again, you would probably have lots of third place achievements hanging around your rabble of a club. Why don't you guys merge again and try and steal another flag, it's a lot easier for you guys now the PAFC is in a higher competition than your composite rabble. I guess you like being compared to Sydney? Hell they have had a lot of success, 1 flag since 1933.

Footy Rumour - Mark Williams has put himself up for trade to the highest bidder. It is reported that some prominent Crows supporters are so keen for him to stay at the Pap that they are offering him money, toyota cars and free beer at the Arkabah Hotel to remain at Alberton.
