Now that I've read that, I can honestly say it won't work. The Murray Kangaroos concept was better for the North admin, but, it got costly, hence the situation going with Port.
Maybe a solution could be to help bank roll someone like Oak Park in Essendon districts or the Sunshine Kangaroos in the WRFL, if they were thinking of being with the Fitzroy Reds.

has a north melbourne member and a follower of grassroots footy, the idea would not work for various reasons.
