While I loved watching Brown, I'm not gutted that he's left.
Earlier in the year, I actually posted that I thought we should trade Brown for the good of the club.
Time to get that big bloke we need.

If we were pushing for a flag, Brown would be the type of player you would want to keep. We arent.
Lets just hope these ridiculous rumours of Bowden or Molloy and Kinnear are just that.

Not at all, I think we all expected it to happen.
My point is, this could end up being good for our footy club. We could just as easily end up with Kinnear and Molloy as well, that would be bad for our footy club.
If we do this right, while we won't end with a player as good as Brown, we could end up with a better "team" after this.

Like Dry Rot I agreed with you both then and now.
It is actually going to be exciting to see what options are available to us.
Another 1st round selection plus a genuine KPP would be a good return and really help us balance our list. I have the utmost confidence in Claytons abilty to maximise any early selections.
I was never confident we would keep Browny and I also posted a number of threads similar to this one throughout the season.
Lets see what we can get for him.
ps I am not going to wish him well
