Just saw this on the Tigers board. Richo and Bowden for Brown. I personally would be happy with that trade, what are everyones thoughts.

David Smorgan said on radio that the club was not interested in richo because of his age. He is 29 and the club was only interested in recruiting players between the ages of 20 & 25yrs of
age.

Would anyone agree to a trade if J. Cloke was in the mix? Good backline player, young and well built. Still got a lot to learn but he does the 1 percenters well (smothers and spoils in particular) Maybe after the GF washup the Pies will be willing to get rid of him for the right price?

We still end up a bit worse off short term in terms of talent but it would adress the issue of variety in the list and the need for a bigger build in the back line. I am a fan of Cloke's but have some worries about his ability to play a role outside of the loose defender, sweeper type. I haven't seen him really towel up a direct opponent but I think there is a lot of potential for him.

Richo/Bowden and Round 2 would suite us more IMO.

As for Cloke, we'd never get him, Collingwood is gonna get his brothers playing for them, no club will ever get their hands on Cloke... Hes a gun, and would be good for us, but as I said, he'll never leave Collingwood
