According to Channel 10 news. Richo in 'crisis' talks. Probably fluffed up a little bit, but if a news station runs with it there must be some truth to it and it's ****ing me off:mad:

If they want any of these players, we'll be expecting Ottens in return (fringe players and picks involved).

Message to Richmond: grow your own talent, you vultures.

Hands off our talent!!!!

If they want to play hardball, so should we. Coughlan would be nice, Ottens too

Hope they get their just desserts just like the filth did after they bought the 1995 premiership...

Listen Buddy, send the message to the real blood suckers, player managers..hawking them about for fatter contracts....I wouldnt think more than one of your players is likely to leave

Although the No 6 pick in the draft maybe a decent carrot...Id be prepared to swap for solomon....you can keep Mcveigh and DJ I wouldnt swap them for a crusty jock strap...

So you don't think a club has the right to offer a larger contract to a player?!?

Just because Essendon signed up Mercuri for 5 years and can't afford to pay there talent what there worth

Instead of bagging Richmond for doing what every club does in the pre season (that is trying to improve there list) why don't you bag the money hungry players who are prepared to ditch Essendon?

Besides you could just start up a solomon.com "promotional" website and slip him a coupla extra thousand ala Llyod & Hird?

Don't go bagging Richmond supporters for stuff the Tigers establishment are doing.

I don't think anyone here is bagging Richmond supporters. What we're cheesed off about is Richmond going after FOUR of our players, players that we've put time, effort and money into over the last 6 years to see them poached by a ****house, cashed up (?) club. Richmond need to bite the proverbial bullet and invest in draft picks and players under 22. Richmond saw what happened to Blumfield when he arrived... hardly played a decent game all year. Richmond's two great hopes, Ottens and Coughlan, were both taken in the first two rounds of the national draft. Hint Hint Tiges!

So bugger off, or expect to lose decent players/picks if you want any/all of the players mentioned.

What makes you think Mcveigh, jacobs and co wont be shanghaied out the back door a'la "Caracella, Hefferman & Blumfield".....or maybe they're just walking the plank before being pushed...

AT WORST Essendon will lose one important player. However if Misiti retires and Mercuri takes a paycut... it's highly unlikely that the fire sale from last year will be repeated... despite the attempts of a certain club to bump up the players asking price.
