Probably only draft picks.
I think we will get Nick Stevens
Collingwood will have trouble dealing with Port and Port want a 1st round draft pick so that rules out carlton and Essendon has players that port want like Jacobs they were after him last year. Also Stevens said that he wanted to go to one of these 3 clubs so I think we might get him.

I don't really think Essendon would a)want or b)need either of the Richmond players, Richardson and Holland. I think pace is what we need. Pace in the middle. This will help to lengthen James Hird's career as well as improve our midfield and allow Dean Rioli to go back to a half forward flank where he can still be a dangerous set up man but is not really found out as much going the other way.
Ideally, it would be Brown, if willing to play in the middle of the park, or Stevens that come to Essendon.
However, Essendon don't really have a big history of signing stars in the middle of their careers, it tends to be players we draft or older players that come in for a couple of years to just push us over the edge for a premiership, ie. the Tim Watson comeback or John Barnes for the 2000 premiership.
Most likely: Draft picks.
Slightly more unlikely than likely: Stevens.
