The great minds at the leagues official website have got together and decided that Scott Lucas will win the best and fairest (fair enough) just ahead of James Hird with Lloyd as their other chance. Shouldn't they have at least mentioned Mark Johnson? I know he didn't poll brilliantly in the Brownlow but we all know club best and fairests allow for players who were consistent and got alot of the ball. I'd love to see MJ get up just to see how the journos at Brunton avenue respond.

MJ had a better year last year. Played well this year, but there were a lot of better midfielders going around, whereas last year he was arguably the best back pocket in the league.

Dunno how the voting system works, but the afl.com prediction is fine by me.
