PORT Adelaide has re-signed its second young key defender within a week after Alipate Carlile inked a new deal with the Power.
On the back of Jackson Trengove’s signature last week, Carlile’s commitment to Port Adelaide will help shore up the Power’s key defensive posts for the long-term.

No shock as all along he has said GWS never spoke to him or his mangement, also GWS has said they had no interest in him from the start. But for some reason the media wanted to believe he was a lock for GWS. Just as they thought Walker was heading to GWS. Clearly the media does not have a clue on who GWS has lined up

my belief is that maybe media were following the wrong carlile all the way through.
