...that Sheedy has absolutely no intention of trading for Stevens, Brown, etc, etc, and is merely giving the impression he is keen on them to bump up their value so the teams that do get these guys pay through the nose?
I do. I'd bet money on it.
Wouldn't be surprised at all. Sheeds will probably then go through the back door and snare some good draft picks and handy discarded/unwanted youngsters.

I agree Pornie. How far in the market were we for Carey and Croad? Under a salary cap, bidding up the price of a player to another club is good business.

Who knows, the man is a crack pot. There are heaps of clubs after these boys. I think it`s more a " look at us we are in there bidding for these players"..it`s an old trick, bid for them, never gonna get them.
