NORTH Hobart premiership coach Brendon Bolton yesterday put his hand up to coach the Demons again next year.
Bolton sees North Hobart's history making 110-point win over Hobart last Saturday as his platform for a changing of the guard in the SFL Premier League.
``I haven't signed on the dotted line yet, but I've told the club I'm keen to be there again next year,'' Bolton said yesterday.
He said he had informed the club he would extend his one-year contract to stay at the helm.
With the success he delivered to the Demon camp this season, the club will no doubt want him as its senior coach for the next few seasons.
His aim is to keep the Demons senior list largely intact.
``For me this year was the first step in a potential dynasty for the club,'' Bolton said.
``The average age of the side is 21, so the boys are at an early stage in their football careers and I would like to see them build on what
they have achieved this year and not be satisfied with one premiership.''
The bad news for Demon fans is the loss of three premiership players.
Key forward Kent Abey is moving to Queensland for work, midfielder Matthew Best is moving to Canberra for work, and centreman Brent Williams intends embarking on a working holiday through Europe next year.
``Losing players at the end of each season is the nature of footy, but I'm confident we can keep that to a minimum and I'm also confident of other players coming on board,'' Bolton said.
North Hobart's grand final win -- 21.20 (146) to 5.6 (36) -- was a record demolition in tier-one Tasmanian football.
The victory also bettered North Hobart's previous club record grand final winning margin of 57 points when it defeated Cananore 18.8 (116) to 7.17 (59) in 1940.
Before the Demons' awesome effort this year, the previous record margin in a grand final was by 97 points when Sandy Bay caned Glenorchy -- 21.10 (136) to 5.9 (39) in 1976.
